We will soon be staying in a 2br villa at OKW. Wondering what supplies I need to bring? Papertowels? trashbags? dish soap? dish machine soap? hand or bath soap? shampoo? dish sponge? So much to think about. A list would be helpful. Thank you!

    Hi Heather,

One of the great things about staying at a Disney Vacation Club Villa is that when you arrive, your villa will be stocked with supplies. Everything that you mention: paper towels, trash bags, both hand and machine dish washing soap, both hand and bath soap, shampoo, and dish sponge will be provided. You will also have a starter pack of coffee, starter pack of laundry detergent, facial tissues, and hair conditioner. On top of these consumable supplies, you will find the kitchen filled with dishes, silverware, pots, and pans; and the bathrooms will have all of the linens you need.

If you booked this stay using Disney Vacation Club vacation points, you will not receive daily housekeeping. Instead, you will receive trash and towel service on day four of your trip if your trip is seven nights or less. If you are staying for eight or more nights, a full cleaning is provided on day four and a trash and towel service on day eight. If you paid for your stay not with Disney Vacation Club points but rather with a traditional method such as a credit card, you will receive daily housekeeping. Trash and towel service includes taking out the trash and replenishing your bathroom linens, as well as replenishing the consumables that I mentioned above. Should you find that you need more of anything during your stay before the trash and towel service, you can call housekeeping from your in-room phone and most of the products can be replenished for a small price.

A good list of amenities in a two-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villa can be found at the unofficial site allears.net. Go to that site and search for "villa amenities." One of the first links will be to a list of the amenities in one and two bedroom Disney Vacation Club villas. Although this is not an official list, it will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions, Heather!
