How soon is TOO soon to plan? Should I wait for better deals? We are hoping to go in a year. I know most activities cant be booked yet, but should we wait to book hotel/park tickets? Or will price change?

Hi Sharah!  It is never too soon to plan when thinking about a Walt Disney World vacation. Prices likely will go up to some degree with the new year but you can book a room etc and they will adjust the price if it does go up. I always suggest  guests book that room because it can be the hardest thing to get later on. Check out all the resorts and the descriptions on line and then book at least a room for now. Decide on a plan later as you can adjust once new deals come out. But please understand never let your reservation go until a new one is in place if you do adjust.

The 180 day mark is the important date to consider when planning as that is when dining reservations can be made.  Other activities might be reserved at 90 or 30 days from arrival. It is best to book the room at your first choice of resorts then start discussing where your family would like to eat, what they would like to do and then make a plan to be ready when reservations can be made!
