How soon can we make reservations to any rides? Where do I find the list of popular rides for each park?

Hello Dhaval, welcome back to planDisney!

You've come to the right place for planning tips for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! When preparing for a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth I love to make my plans early, discuss them with other members of my party, and just use this time to get excited about my upcoming trip!  It sounds like you're also getting excited and ready to make some daily itineraries for your vacation!

When you're purchasing Theme Park Tickets, you'll see that there is a chance to purchase a Standard Theme Park Ticket, where you and your party will be able to visit one Park per day or to upgrade to a Park Hopper Option ticket, where you can move freely between all four Theme Parks anytime after 2 p.m.

I personally love Park hopping because moving between Parks feels like going between two worlds in one day!  The atmosphere in EPCOT can be so different from that of Disney's Animal Kingdom, and that's what makes it so special.  Park hopping also gives us a reason to head back to our Resort and take a quick snooze in the middle of the day!

Whether you are choosing to purchase the Park Hopper Option or not, you and your party will start your reservation process by making Park Pass Reservations after you have purchased your Theme Park Tickets. You'll want to decide which Parks you're planning to visit on which days, as you'll need both a valid Theme Park Ticket and a Park Pass Reservation to enter your first Park of the day.  Right now you do not need to make a Park Pass Reservation for your consecutive Parks if you plan on "hopping."

If you're asking about the new Disney Genie+ Service that Guests can purchase in order to save on time waiting in lines, you have two options to purchase, but all Guests will be allowed to choose their first "Lightning Lane" attractions at the same time - 7 a.m. on the day of your visit.  You are able to purchase Disney Genie+ for multi-day tickets ahead of time when you purchase your Theme Park Tickets or you can purchase for one-day Park tickets anytime after midnight on the day of your visit.  Disney Genie+ Service grants you quick access to over 40 rides and attractions by giving you a return time to come back to your ride of choice, instead of waiting in line.  If you click on the Lightning Lane link above you will be able to see all the attractions available with Genie+, categorized by Theme Park.

Considering you won't be able to make these Lightning Lane choices until the day of your visit, right now you and your party can decide which rides, shows and attractions are most important and not-to-be-missed.  With the time you have between Lightning Lane arrivals, you can try out some yummy snacks or watch a show that never has a line, like Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire!

Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
