How soon can I make reservations for January 2017

    Hi Tina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are undoubtedly a planner after my own heart!

Did you know that you may reserve accommodations at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels up to 499 days in advance of your intended checkout date? That's right! You can! However, you cannot make an on-line reservation for a Magic Your Way Vacation Package until the actual package pricing is announced. Historically, rates have been released during the summer so you can expect the 2017 package prices to come out around the same time this year.

If you are looking to book a room-only reservation, go ahead and contact Disney today. They will charge you for a single night based on this year's rate, and then automatically adjust your reservation once the 2017 pricing is released. After the 2017 package pricing is announced, you will have the option of converting your room-only reservation into a Magic Your Way Vacation Package reservation if you wish. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Special Offers page too. If a better discount comes along, simply contact Disney to change your package reservation, based on availability, to the offer that best fits your budget.

I hope you found this information useful, Tina. Please write back with more questions as you continue to plan your family's unforgettable January 2017 vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.
