    How soon can I purchase magic bands before check in at hotel?

    Hi Robin, 

    If you are staying onsite in a Disney Resort, your MagicBands are included with your reservation. You can begin customizing them as soon as you make your reservation. In order to have them sent to your home you must select your colors and preferences at least 11 days prior to your arrival. If you customize between 10 and 6 days before you arrive for your vacation, your MagicBands will be waiting for you at your resort. If you do not customize until 5 days or less before arrival, you will receive gray, non-customized MagicBands when you check in. 

    If you are not staying onsite in a Disney Resort, you can purchase MagicBands in advance of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by visiting ShopDisney.com. There are a lot of adorable designs with beloved characters, famous icons from the various Disney Parks, solid colors, limited edition releases and much more. Once you receive your purchased MagicBands in the mail, you can link them to your My Disney Experience account online and your park passes will be all set to go once you arrive.
