Hi Paul! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! You have come to the perfect place to get an answer to your question!
October is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather has started to cool down a bit from the heat of the summer months. Fall decorations are seen throughout the parks and resorts, but specifically at the
Magic Kingdom and on Main Street, U.S.A. Our fingers are crossed for a return of a Halloween-themed party or after-hours event! I still think about Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade I saw a few years back! You should also be able to catch the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival if it makes a return in 2022. If you are a food connoisseur, this is the place to be. With over 30 food and drink booths throughout the park and World Showcase, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Since the reopening of the theme parks, not only do you need a valid park ticket, you are also required to
make park reservations on the days you visit a park. For example, if you wish to visit the Magic Kingdom on October 12th, you will need to a park reservation for the Magic Kingdom on that select date. For this reason, I would suggest making your plans as soon as you can. It's better to have your dates reserved and make changes to your itinerary as needed.
I have to say, Paul, with the current deal being offered to United Kingdom Guests, it has me questioning whether I should move there. If you can visit for a longer period of time, the
14-day Magic Ticket is currently the same cost as the 7-day ticket. The value is incredible, especially since it comes with the Park Hopper Option and Memory Maker! I hope you can take advantage of this current deal.
If you plan on staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel while you are here, I would recommend starting that process now as well. Resort availability has been spotty as of late, so booking soon will secure the resort and room type you prefer.
Paul, I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming stay! Please
stop back to planDisney with any additional planning questions!
See ya real soon!
