Ahoy Kendall!
So glad you decided to “be our guest” and stop by planDisney to chat about one of my favorite subjects, FOOD! (Hmm, maybe I shouldn’t be answering this on an empty stomach!) Now, let me invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as we proudly present...your answer!
I love that you already know about
room service and that it’s included in your cruise pricing. This is an excellent way to snack between meals and keep everyone’s bellies full...something I have no problem with when I cruise with Captain Mickey! Added bonus: did you know that Mickey Ice Cream are Bars available from in-room dining? My recommendations for what to order include the “All Hands on Deck” cheese plate and Buffalo Chicken Wings. Be mindful that gratuities are not included, so you would need to tip the server delivering your food to your stateroom.
I would say that if you want to grab a bite to eat, go ahead and do that as soon as you board, either from the
Quick Service restaurants on the pool deck or the dining room that is serving lunch that day. Disney Cruise Line does not have a set time when room service begins. Since access to
staterooms generally opens around 1:30 P.M., room service would not be available until well after that. And if I was guessing, they probably will not begin to offer in-room dining until after the Muster Drill is completed. Once you get in your stateroom, you can either call Guest Services or ask your stateroom host about in-room dining.
Kendall, we will always have a place set for you at the planDisney table and are happy to welcome you back anytime. Have a DREAMy cruise!
Bon Appétit!
