Hi there, Margaret!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a fun trip you have planned – both at sea AND on land and amazing
Walt Disney World! I know you are eagerly counting down the days until you are off on this sure to be magical vacation!
"Express Walk Off" typically begins around 7:30AM, but is subject to change due to any delays arriving or delays in the ship being cleared for disembarkment. Assuming no delays, you can certainly disembark the ship then, go through Customs and Immigration and be on your way to your Walt Disney World Resort. If you choose to do Express Walk Off, you are required to carry all of your luggage off the ship with you as opposed to leaving out the night before for stateroom hosts to collect and deliver inside the port terminal after leaving the ship.
If you have arranged for Disney Cruise Line transfers to your Walt Disney World Resort from Port Canaveral, those buses typically do not begin leaving until closer to 9:00AM. Disney Cruise Line transfers need to be booked at least three days prior to your sailing, if you have not yet done so and would like to take advantage of this. Also don’t forget that you can book onboard activities and
excursions at ports of call online prior to your sailing up to four days prior to your sailing.
As your final preparations continue for your trip feel free to come back with any additional questions you may have about your upcoming trip! I know that you are going to have a magical trip with many memories made both on your cruise and at Walt Disney World!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
