How soon before your cruise can you book ground transportation? I booked at stay at the airport (Orlando) hotel on my own.

Hello there, Leslie! Welcome to planDisney. It's a pleasure to help you prepare for a memorable voyage with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie.

I see you are set to sail next year. I love that you are getting a jump on your planning already. I called Disney Cruise Line to check and was told that ground transportation booking isn't yet available for 2024. I'd look again in about a month to see if a ground transfer is available to be added to your reservation.

I often choose to leave the driving duties to Disney Cruise Line. It's wonderful to arrive ready for vacation and to be whisked away to the port. You can sit back, relax, and keep an eye out for the first glimpse of your awaiting ship as you approach Port Canaveral.

Leslie, if you haven't already, please download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Prior to sailing, you can utilize it to manage your reservation, explore and book activities, and even countdown to the big day. While onboard it will be your handy guide to what is happening around the ship and offers a chat feature so that you can stay in touch with your shipmates. I love to use the app to "favorite" the activities in the day that catch my eye, and the app will even notify me when an activity that I have set as a favorite is about to begin!

Please return to planDisney if you have more questions. My pals and I would love to help.

    Happy Planning!
