    How soon are Christmas decorations up in the MK? Would it be better to come early in Nov. when weather is warmer or risk the colder temps in early Dec to see more Christmas decorations? We will have 4 days in the parks. Thank you so much for any advice!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Fall is my favorite season to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. In my opinion, it is the perfect time to visit. The weather in early November is typically warm enough for an afternoon swim but requires a light jacket for nighttime parades. If you time your vacation just right, you can experience both the Halloween and Christmas decorations as my family did this past fall. As soon as Halloween was over, Cast Members started working to transform the Magic Kingdom into its holiday attire. In the past, the Magic Kingdom has been fully decorated by the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party usually held the first week in November. 

    Although the dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not been announced for 2015, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for party dates and announcements. While you wait, check out this video and before and after photos of the overnight holiday transformation of Magic Kingdom!
