How soon can we check in to a resort?

    Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!

Your Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay begins tomorrow! How exciting is that? I bet you are busy today as you prepare for your trip. Our planDisney Panelists compiled a list of our packing must-haves and there are a lot of great ideas on there. You can check it out at the link I included above.

Depending on where you are staying, most check-in times begin at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM (EST). Occasionally, rooms are ready early and you can check in earlier than this time. I always recommend checking with the Front Desk when you arrive to see if you can check in early.

You can also use Online Check-In now to receive a text when your room is ready. I've received texts as early as 9:00 AM by checking in this way, just because the room was available early. But for visits where my room wasn't ready yet, I left my luggage with Bell Services and either picked it up when I returned to my hotel later that day or called from my room to have a Cast Member bring it up. This service is complimentary but I always have a little cash on hand to tip the super helpful Cast Members!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Jennifer! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello all! I'm a happily married, proud mom to two young children, and I love to plan trips to Walt Disney World Resort. One of my favorite things about taking a Disney Parks vacation is that there is always something new and wonderful to discover, no matter if this is your first trip or if you visit multiple times per year. I'm excited to help you plan your next adventure!
