How soon in advance can you book the Tomorrowland Fireworks thing/a haircut at the Main Street barber shop? While  Dad and sister get makeovers (pre booked) /haircuts, what's something I could do with my other sister (11) for the same amount of time?

    Hi Mariah!

You can make your reservations up to 180 days in advance.  Even though Harmony Barbershop accepts walk-ins, I recommend a reservation, as lines can get quite long.

You and your sister could spend some quality time on Main Street U.S.A. while waiting for your family members to get all fancied up!  Take a stroll to The Chapeau, just across the street, to buy some Mouse Ears and have them personalized?  Also, shopping at the Emporium is one of my favorite pastimes - please don't neglect to enjoy the window shopping - beautiful!

Catch a ride on a Main Street Vehicle - the jitney, street car, or even the fire engine!  Or, ride around the entire park on the Walt Disney World Railroad - takes about 20 minutes, total.

If your timing is right, you might meet the Mayor of Main Street, USA & Scoop Sanderson, and hear the amazing Dapper Dans, Barbershop Quartet!

Grab a snack at the Confectionery for candy and baked goods, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Main Street Bakery, or Casey's Corner (hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, fries).

Town Square Theater is now the official Meet & Greet location for Mickey Mouse!

Finally, just take some time to enjoy the scenery.  Main Street, USA, is known for its amazing architectural detail, employing some special Disney magic - such as "forced perspective" - to make the buildings appear larger than they actually are.  Also, take note of the names on the doors and windows - names of many of the men and women who played important roles in the creation of Walt Disney World!

There's lots of magic all around, so be sure you enjoy the special "unplanned" moments during your day to take in some of these treasures that many Guests often miss in their hurry to get to the next attraction.  I wish you lots of happiness and fun on your Disney vacation!
