My sons and I will be visiting WDW in December 2015. What exactly should I plan on packing for us? I know it's a while before our trip, but I always like to be prepared in time.

Hi Pamela! I visited Walt Disney World last December and am planning on a December visit this year as well. I think that it is the best time to visit because the weather is cooler and the holiday decorations are so festive. Speaking of the weather, I suggest that you pack a variety of clothing. Pack a pair of shorts and short sleeved shirts, but also pack pants and a sweater because early mornings and evenings get chilly. When I went last December it was really cold for a couple of days and then it warmed up to flip-flop weather for the remainder of my stay. Also anytime you plan on doing a lot of walking you will want to pack a comfortable set of shoes.

*I also suggest packing a portable cell phone charger or extra battery. I take lots of pictures on my phone, and constantly use the My Disney Experience App to check attraction wait times, so my phone usually dies by midday. Its a good idea to have a portable charger to have access throughout the night.

*I always pack a little first aid baggie with bandaids, bug spray, ear plugs and Tylenol. You never know when you will get a headache or a blister, and prices for these items are inflated in the parks, so I suggest planning ahead and packing them to save money. Bring a couple of extra baggies to keep your phone waterproof on water rides.

*Pack a few ponchos. There is little rainfall in the month of December, but ponchos are great for water rides like Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids.

*Pack a refillable water container. I always bring my Contigo container so that I can fill it up with ice water at the parks. It will save you so much money because you won't have to buy water bottles or drinks in the parks.

*Purchase a pack of baby wipes for messes. You didn't mention how old your sons are, but my son is 5 years old and I still find that wipes come in handy.

I'm running out of space, but this list should get you started. If you need anything else please let us know.
