my sons are going to be turning 2 and 3 in nov and dec. we are are planing a trip for disney world dec 4 to the 14 and i would like some info what i can do for a young kids birthday down there. I havent been there since 1992

    Hi Christopher,

How fun to celebrate two birthdays at Walt Disney World! We've marked many of our daughters' birthdays at Disney since they were your sons' ages. You will have a blast.

I would highly recommend breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort. Mickey and all his friends come to your table to visit (even if it's not your birthday) and there's always a special singing of "Happy Birthday" for everyone celebrating.

Pooh and his pals have a similar experience at the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. Or check out breakfast with Disney Junior favorites at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios.

I always preferred character breakfasts to character dinners when my daughters were really young so that they were rested and ready to enjoy the fun.

You can make advanced dining reservations 180 days prior to your visit  for this and any other table service restaurant. There's a section on the online form that allows you to list the names and ages of the birthday boys. You can note it on your resort reservation as well. Sometimes Mickey will leave a card or greeting unexpectedly,

Make sure you get each of your sons a free "Happy Birthday" button at guest relations in the theme parks or resorts so that cast members and guests can offer them birthday greetings throughout your visit. Cast members sometimes pull out special surprises, too, such as a free dessert or toy.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. And enjoy this special time with your sons!
