Hello James,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with such a galactically great question about your upcoming adventure next month on board the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World Resort.
James, I'm more than happy to share that
Disney Play is currently available from both the App Store and Google Play and is suitable for both Android and iOS devices. And as you might imagine, all young
Mouseketeers aged 13 years old and younger are required to gain parental permission to create their own Disney accounts. To enable your 2 younger boys to
access Disney Play on their mobile phones as the interactive Star Wars: Datapad, you'll need to visit either the App Store, or Google Play and download the app to their phones. Then continue to follow these handy instructions -
- After downloading Disney Play,
open the App.
- Tap the
Mickey Mouse icon located in the top left of the screen
- Tap to
Sign In - Go ahead and
Create an Account, fill in all required fields, and compete by tapping
Request Account - An email will be sent to the address entered into the “
Parent Email Address” field with important information and further instructions on how to approve the request to create a child's Disney account
- Continue to follow the instructions in the email to approve the creation of the Disney account.
- This approval will then give your boys the necessary permissions to use their new accounts and enable them to sign in to Play Disney
James, I hope I've been able to fully answer your question today. If you should have any further questions at all concerning your upcoming
August summer holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, then please do feel free to pop back to
me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day, and may the Force be with you! ~ Jane
