Hi Jeanette,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Let’s first start with your
Theme Park tickets. Are they physical card tickets or are they in your My Disney Experience account? If they are physical tickets, I suggest using the ticket ID codes to determine if they can be used. To do this, you’ll need to enter the IDs into the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you don’t have an account, Hakuna Matata,
you can create one by downloading the app!Once you sign into the My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner. Next select “Tickets and Passes” then “Link Tickets & Passes” and under the “Ticket or Pass” area, you’ll be able to add the two Ticket IDs on the back of the tickets. If these are mobile tickets from an email, there should be Ticket IDs within your email that you can enter into the app.
When the tickets are entered into My Disney Experience or if they are already in the account, you’ll see the name, the type of ticket, the number of days remaining, and the expiration date of each ticket. If for some reason you don’t see the above information or you aren’t able to link the tickets for any reason,
just call the Existing Tickets help desk. The Cast Member should be able to work a little magic to determine if the tickets can be used.
You mentioned FastPass+, the tickets most likely allowed the use of the service. Recently, FastPass+ was replaced by
Genie+ service, which is a paid service that holds your place in line for select attractions. As you’re planning your vacation, you can think about adding Genie+ to specific days of your family's vacation. This could be a great way to save time during your trip!
As for your food certificate, since it has a past expiration date, my guess is that it's fully expired. You never know what could happen though, so I'd bring it with you on your trip. Once you're at the Walt Disney World Resort, head over to Guest Services at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or within any of the Theme Parks, explain the situation like you did here, and see what the Cast Member can do about your certificate. My fingers are crossed for you!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your vacation this summer. If you have
any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
