My 3 sons have reservations to build a droid at 830 am and the park opens at 9 am that day. How do we go about getting into the park early to get to these reservations? Is there a certain place to enter at? Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! I'm so glad to hear that you've got a trip to the planet Batuu coming up before the end of the year. I was just there last month and the weather was beautiful, just like a mild day here on Earth! There's nothing quite like a vacation to another planet to lift your spirits at the end of the year so let's chat about how to get into Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning so you're all set to go for your intergalactic journey.

Getting into a Theme Park before it opens is really simple and straightforward. In fact, it's possible that all guests may already be filtering in through the main gates and onto Hollywood Boulevard around the time of your 8:30 a.m. reservation so you'll just be able to scan your ticket or MagicBand and walk right in. If the gates haven't opened quite yet, there may be a Cast Member with a sign pointing guests with pre-opening reservations to a specific entrance and you'll be able to hear them as well because they'll be talking through a headset microphone. If you get there in the morning and it isn't quite clear what you need to do, just ask! There will be Cast Members stationed along the walkway from the parking lot and also between the complimentary transportation and the entrance, so if you have any questions about where you need to go, they'll be happy to help you. Make sure to have your My Disney Experience app ready so you can show your Droid Depot reservation to a Cast Member at the entrance!

'Til the Spire, Jennifer, and may The Force be with you!
