My son's marching band is performing at Disney near Thanksgiving. We are looking for a place for our whole family to stay that week, prefer to camp, but wondering if there are RV rentals available, and shuttle/bus transpo to the parks??

Hi Amy! Congratulations on your son's band getting a spot to perform at Walt Disney World. That is a great honor and exciting for the kids and their families.

My husband and I have been. "Camping" in our motor coach here in Fort Wilderness since September and plan to stay for quite a few more weeks. We enjoy coming and spending a long period of time at our favorite Disney resort.

You can certainly Rent Rv Units for your Fort Wilderness stay. Check out the three companies that work well with Disney on that page and give them a call to see about availability. Of course you will also need to get a reservation for the campground and those can be hard to come by during holiday times. The RV companies will deliver and pick up the vehicles you choose to rent and most are equipped with everything you need. Some will require you to bring your own towels and bedding so be sure and ask these questions when you talk to the different companies.

Fort Wilderness Campgrounds is a true Disney resort. They have a central bus area where you can catch a bus to all parks and Disney Springs with the exception of the Magic Kingdom. For this park you would head to the opposite end of the resort and catch the boats that will drop you off within steps of the Magic Kingdom entrance. The boats run like the buses and will be there every 15-20 minutes. There is also an internal bus system since this resort is one of the largest land resorts on property. These buses will take you from one end to the other to catch a bus or a boat.

Hope you can work it out and enjoy a fun time here in just a few weeks!
