Hi, Adam! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! It would be my pleasure to help you get everything sorted out with your
My Disney Experience Family & Friends List so that you can continue planning for your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
It sounds like you and your mother-in-law are already connected via the My Disney Experience Family & Friends List, but if not, you'll want to take care of that first. To connect through My Disney Experience, you'll want to log into your My Disney Experience account using either the
Walt Disney World Resort website or the
My Disney Experience mobile app. When you're logged in, open your Family & Friends List and follow the prompts to add a Guest. If you add your mother-in-law to your list, you should also be able to request to add any of her Family & Friends, including your children.
Once your sons are included in your Family & Friends List, you can then change the Guest who manages their plans. I can walk you through that process. Have your mother-in-law open her My Disney Experience Family & Friends List and click on the profile of one of your sons. She should see an option to allow a connected Guest to manage "All Plans." This option will allow her to switch your son's profile over to be managed by you. She can then repeat this process for each child in your family.
Adam, if you run into any issues with switching the Guest who manages your kids' My Disney Experience profiles, feel free to call the
Help Center phone number for My Disney Experience. A friendly Cast Member there will be able to sort things out for you in no time.
If you have any additional questions as you plan for your upcoming trip, stop by and visit us again. We're all ears!
Samantha
