My sons lightsaber turns off with a clicking noise when swinging it or turning upside down. We put new batteries in. It is 3 days out from build. Needless to say this is very frustrating.

    Welcome to planDisney, Stacey.

So you've recently returned from a trip to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge? I trust that you had a great time exploring Batuu. It sounds like you treated your Padawan to a galactic experience at Savi's Workshop. I haven't yet had the pleasure of building my own lightsaber. However, I'm sure it was "impressive. Most impressive."

I'm so sorry that you've been experiencing some issues with your son's lightsaber since returning to planet Earth. It sounds like the wicked schemes of the First Order if you ask me. I've just received a hologram message from my contact in the Black Spire Outpost, and they suggested that you call Merchandise Guest Services at (800) 328-0327 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (EST). You'll be able to speak to a friendly Cast Member and they can advise you from there.

I hope that you get the help you need, Stacey. By the time you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios again, I'm sure your son will be a fully-fledged Jedi.

May the Force be with you.
