Greetings Neal!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question and making us a part of your magical visit. Oh my goodness, Neal, what a memorable and exciting occasion! I am so excited for you and your family to make magical memories that will last a lifetime, and I am honoured to be helping you today.
Now, let's talk about parking at a Disney Resort!
Guests visiting the resorts to experience select dining, shopping, recreation and entertainment experiences have access to complimentary parking during the day. However, this usually does not include experiences that do not require a reservation. For example, valid dining experiences include sit-down restaurants, whereas a quick-service meal would not be accepted for complimentary parking. Upon arrival, you may be asked for your reservation information as well as a piece of ID to benefit from complimentary parking. If you do not have any reservations, it might be preferable for you to park your vehicle at Disney Springs or the Transportation and Ticket Center and then use Disney transportation.
While you are visiting the Disney Contemporary Resort, I would highly recommend booking a reservation at Disney's brand-new restaurant,
Steakhouse 71. Inspired by the style of the 1970s, this restaurant is the perfect new offering to try during the
World's Most Magical Celebration as it celebrates the Walt Disney World Resort's history.
The menu even includes some of Walt Disney's reimagined favourite dishes and a portfolio of Disney family wines. In addition, many decor and dining elements are inspired by the local history and traditions, including touches of citrus groves and the famous Orange Bird. And do I need to mention their famous 15-layer chocolate and raspberry cake? With so many tasty and comforting meal options, Steakhouse 71 is a new experience you will not want to miss! Please note that if you make a dining reservation, you will benefit from complimentary parking up to three hours before your reservation.
I hope this was helpful, Neal, and that you and your family have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You're as welcome as can be!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
