    This will be my sons first time, he is 2 and this is our big family trip before my husband deploys again. I want to honor him and do something special for the kids to remember. We will be there the end of June this year? Any suggestions....

    Hi Angela!

    What a special time for your family to visit Walt Disney World!  This is the perfect way to make some incredible family memories together before your husband deploys.

    There is a special "Flag Retreat Ceremony" that takes place every day at 5:00 p.m. in the Magic Kingdom.  It is located in the square at the entrance to Main Street, U.S.A.

    Walt Disney World Security and a "Special guest" conduct the ceremony.  Members of the Armed Services and Veterans can volunteer to be the Special Guest by stopping at Guest Relations near the Entrance of the Magic Kingdom and inquiring.  I recommend you get there as early as possible to sign up for this very special and memorable event.  To see what one of these ceremonies is like, you can go to YouTube online and perform a search for "Magic Kingdom Flag Retreat Ceremony".

    Please let me humbly express my gratitude to your husband and entire family for the sacrifices you are all making for our country, and for us all.  My hopes are for you all to enjoy this special time together, and for your husband to return home to you safely as soon as possible!  Sending loads of Pixie Dust your way!
