my sons fifth birthday is in march I wanna purchase tickets but I need some info could I speak with a specialist.

    Hi Toneissia!

Welcome to planDisney! Hooray for planning birthday trips to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Since we took our girls on their first trip to Walt Disney World when they were 5-years old, that age has special memories for us! Although you can always speak to a Cast Member about tickets by calling 407-939-7679, you can also purchase those tickets online. When our girls were that age, we just purchased the 1 Park Per Day tickets and would normally get 5-day tickets depending on the length of our stay.

With 1 Park Per Day tickets, we were able to get to the park early, enjoy a few rides, go back to the resort hotel room, relax for a little, and then head back to the same park later in the day. Once our girls got older, we enjoyed Park Hopper tickets because they were old enough to stay in the parks from early in the morning until late at night so I felt like it was worth the extra money to get the Park Hopper option and visit more than one park in a day.

As you make your plans, I do hope you are considering a vacation package with a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and your theme park tickets. Since you have some time before your visit, keep an eye on the Special Offers. We prefer certain resort hotels and room types, so we make our reservations early and then check on the special offers often. If we see a special offer come out after we have booked our resort hotel or vacation package, we check to see if that special offer can be applied to our existing reservation.

I do strongly suggest that you purchase those tickets in advance so that you can use the Disney Park Pass system to make theme park reservations for each day that you have valid admission. If you have not done so already, create a My Disney Experience account so that you can link all of your reservations and tickets. Before attempting to link those tickets, be sure to add you son and anyone else in your party to your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. Then, you should be able to assign tickets to them in My Disney Experience.

Toneissia, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to a world of magic soon! Review the operational updates before your visit. Sending you a little extra pixie dust as you make your son's birthday magical!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
