its my sons birthday on our first day at disney . do they do any thing specialfor him

For celebrations at Walt Disney World, including birthdays, guests should note the occasion on all reservations. Have your son's birthday noted on your hotel reservation as well as dining reservations.

While there is no guarantee that the birthday will be acknowledged, Cast Members will often recognize the special occasion. At a restaurant, a child is likely to receive a cupcake. At the hotel, he may receive a picture signed by the characters and/or a balloon. At check in, you also ask for a complimentary birthday button which your son can wear.

Guests can also plan their own birthday surprises which guarantee extra fun!
