Ka-chow, Kerry.
I’m so glad you followed Lightning McQueen through Radiator Springs and found planDisney along the way. With less than a month to go until you’re in the middle of the magic, I imagine you are gearing up to finalize all of those last-minute trip details.
You'll be happy to know that Walt Disney World Resort goes above-and-beyond for all of their Guests and provides a wide array of accommodations for
Guests with Disabilities.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of these services and is available to Guests who struggle with the extended wait times in attraction queues due to a disability. While the pre-arrival registration option for DAS is only available to Guests based in the United States at this time, you will still be able to utilize this service for your sons should they meet the qualifications. Get to the first theme park of your trip extra early and head over to the
Guest Relations location. The Cast Members there can answer any questions you have about DAS, walk you through the registration process, and set up your initial selections. If you need help making subsequent selections or run into any issues with DAS during your holiday, the Cast Members at the
Guest Experience Team locations throughout the theme parks can assist you (just look for the stations marked with blue umbrellas).
Kerry, if you find that your boys need a quiet place away from the crowds for a bit, head to the tent at the back of Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom Park. There are charging stations and lots of comfy seating to decompress.
The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion in EPCOT, the outdoor seating at
Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Rizzo’s Deluxe Supreme Banquet Hall upstairs in
PizzeRizzo in Disney’s Hollywood Studios are great places to take a break as well.
Kerry, I hope this information proves helpful. Please stop by
planDisney again if you have further questions before your magical getaway.
Tomorrow is just a dream away,
Alyssa
