Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christina!
I am so glad that you are planning ahead for your spring adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth! For the past three years or so, I have been traveling to the Disneyland Resort in April and I can tell you that the weather is pretty close to perfect. The days will be pleasantly toasty while the mornings and evenings are just slightly cool. Pack light jackets if you plan to be at the parks at rope drop or to enjoy any nighttime entertainment.
Dining at any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels is available to all Guests regardless of whether they are staying at the hotel or not. You don’t even need to have a ticket to visit the parks to dine at one of the hotel restaurants. Some of the best dining at the Resort can be found at the restaurants in the Disneyland Resort Hotels so definitely plan a reservation or two during your trip.
Finally, when it comes to booking your lodging, you can certainly book a split stay between a
Disneyland Resort Hotel and a Good Neighbor Hotel. You might need to make two different reservations or vacation packages, however. I suggest calling the Vacation Packages line at (714) 520-5060 to see if they can streamline that process for you. Keep in mind that when you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you have access to
Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay including your check-in and check-out days.
I hope this helps. Happy planning!
