My son is 2 1/2 yrs old. Which water park has the best kiddie area?

    Brooke:

Several of us here at the Mom's panel have different thoughts!

Beatrice thinks Typhoon Lagoon has the upperhand.  However, Tanya sides with Blizzard Beach!  I tend to agree with Tanya.

When we took our 3-year-old to both parks last year, I felt like Tike's Peak at Blizzard Beach was better contained and provided more seating than its counterpart at Typhoon Lagoon.  Best of all, I could see my son better on its slides.  For our entire family's enjoyment, the family raft at Blizzard Beach gave us a longer whirl for our energy after we climbed all of those steps!  It's not the easiest choice, but if I could visit only one with a toddler, it would have to be Blizzard Beach.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
