Welcome to planDisney, Harel! We're thrilled to be a part of your upcoming adventure to
The Most Magical Place on Earth. Your family must be buzzing with excitement for all the fun in store this July. Rest assured, I'll be able to help you today and put your mind at ease.
The only two opportunities for Guests 14 and over to wear full costumes inside the theme parks while also following
Disney's Park Dress Guidelines to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment are during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Disney Villains After Hours events. Guests aged 13 or under can wear costumes at any time, but there are also guidelines for that. For instance, masks must always provide unobstructed peripheral vision, with openings that allow the eyes to be fully visible.
While full costumes from head to toe are a no-go, you're totally fine rocking elements from your favorite characters, like themed t-shirts and unique accessories. The key is to ensure that your attire is not inappropriate or disruptive to other Guests' experiences. It's best to avoid anything that resembles a weapon, such as swords, or anything too elaborate that might confuse other Guests, like, you know, bringing a horse.
Harel, I really hope this helps with your planning! No matter what your son wears to Magic Kingdom Park, I'm absolutely sure you're all going to have the most fantastic day ever. Feel free to come back
and ask us more questions anytime. We're always happy and ready to help a friend like you!
Cheers
Nilson
