My son is 6 years old and we are visiting Disney World Florida in May. I was wondering should I rent a stroller for the parks? I know he may want to take a break from time to time and plus have extra storage.

Hi Janie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My oldest son is almost six years old and he is a VERY high energy kid. It seems when we are at home that he has an endless amount of energy even after running and playing outside all day. However when we are at the Walt Disney World Resort even this energetic kid gets tired out by the end of the day. We even make sure to take a break in the afternoon for him to chill out for a while. So whenever we are visiting the parks we always rent a stroller for him. Sometimes he just needs to take a seat and kind of zone out from all of the magic. We use a stroller rental company called Orlando Stroller Rentals. There is also another that is great too called Kingdom Strollers. Both companies provide clean, well conditioned, easy to use strollers. They will drop off and pick up the stroller at your resort hotel. In my opinion the fee is very reasonable and the strollers are very comfortable. They also provide a place for a change of clothes, snacks, and water bottles! Even if my son doesn’t use the stroller all day when he is tired it is really nice to have a place for him to sit and recoup!

Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones can be so much fun! Make sure to take it slow sometimes so that you all can enjoy the little things together! Have a magical time!
