My son is 2 years old. Do we need to add him as a guest or provide a copy of his birth certificate when we get to the park?

    Hi Kathryn!

I'm so excited that you will soon experience the magic of Walt Disney World with your little one. There is nothing quite like seeing the parks through the eyes of a child.

You are correct that your son won't need a ticket to enter the parks with you at 2-years-old. However, you will want to add him to your My Disney Experience Account with his date of birth to include him on any dining reservations you may have. Even though he doesn't need a park ticket, he will still count as a Guest on dining reservations.

You also won't need to have a birth certificate with you to enter the parks. If you need some additional inspiration, I love the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page for great ideas and sample itineraries of how to spend your days in the parks.

Wishing you a wonderful visit, Kathryn. Please come back and see us if you have any other questions!
