Hiya Casey!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your ticket question! Oh boy — I couldn’t help but smile when I saw your arrival date is December 25th! What a practically perfect way to celebrate the holiday season — surrounded by twinkling lights, joyful music, and a little bit of Disney magic. Your son is going to love seeing Magic Kingdom all dressed up in its holiday best, with Christmas trees glimmering around every corner. It truly is one of the most magical times to visit!
Now, let’s dive right into your question! Children who are two years old and under do not require an
admission ticket to enter the theme parks. Once your little Mouseketeer turns three, they’ll need a valid theme park ticket. Disney offers two types of theme park tickets: one for children ages 3–9 and another for Guests ages 10 and up.
When my daughter turned three, we made it a huge celebration — she proudly declared she was finally part of the Annual Passholder club! (Or as we like to call it in our family, the Mickey Mouse Club!) Watching your child experience the parks at that age is just pure joy — full of wonder, giggles, and so much pixie dust.
While you’re visiting, be sure to check out some of the attractions that are
perfect for little ones. A few of my three-year-old’s favorites include:
And don’t forget about the parades and stage shows — they’re wonderful ways to slow down, make memories, and see your son’s face light up with wonder.
Casey, I hope this helps you get ready for the most magical holiday stay! If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
