Hi, My son who will be 3 1/2 years old and my daughter 11 months old are planning a trip to WDW. We are thinking about Animal Kingdom. How suitable is this environment for an 11 month old.

    Hi Solange!

I love love love love love Animal Kingdom! It is my favorite spot and I have successfully taken a 7month old and 10month old there. Of course, my 10month old passed out in the sling a mere 10 minutes into the park but she woke up soon enough!

Your 11 month old will love Animal Kingdom. There are several attractions where you can (safely) see animals up close: The Kilimanjaro Safari, The Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, The Maharaja Jungle Trek, plus Affection Section which is basically a petting zoo!

There are also lots of Character Greetings in Camp Minnie-Mickey and two of the greatest shows on property--Finding Nemo: The Musical and Festival of the Lion King.
