    Hello - my son is 3 years old and has Autism. Does the disability access pass also include a specialized area for children and adults with disabilities to watch special events and shows such as parades, Wishes fireworks, illuminations, etc from?

    Hi Leah ~

    Make sure you discuss all of your son's needs when you go to Guest Relations to obtain a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) for him. There are viewing areas in the parks for Guests with Disabilities. For example, there are currently three parade viewing areas for Guest with disabilities along the parade route in the Magic Kingdom:

    * In Town Square
    * In the Hub opposite Cinderella Castle
    * In Liberty Square

    Keep in mind that these locations may change.

    The viewing areas for Guests with Disabilities are shown on the Guide Maps in each park. You can also pick up a Guide Map for Guest with Disabilities at Guest Relations or download it prior to your visit on the Guests with Disabilities link provided.

    Space is limited in each of these viewing areas and can fill up quickly especially for the new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom. I would plan on arriving at least 1 1/2 hours (maybe earlier) to obtain a spot for this parade. Also keep in mind that depending on how many Guests with disabilities are in the area, they will usually only allow one person to stay with the Guest with a disability and ask that other members of your party watch from another area.

    If your son is sensitive to noise, be sure to bring head phones or ear plugs to minimize the noise. The fireworks produce loud booms and the music from some of the parade floats can be a little loud if you are next to the street along the parade route.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
