Hi Kacey!
A warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy to answer your great question about
visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. As the mom of two little ones myself, I have experienced almost ever Walt Disney World Resort restaurant with them.
My baby loves to eat! Like your son, she drinks milk and eats baby food, but also enjoys eating “regular” food. I enjoy visiting Walt Disney World Resort with her and watching her explore new and exciting dishes.
Kacey, Disney Dining Plans are not available for children under the age of 3 — but don’t worry! Your little one will never go hungry at Walt Disney World Resort. Children under the age of 3 are some of Mickey’s most special Guests. They enter the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks for free, and are also eligible to eat for free at most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants.
If you are dining at a
buffet/family-style restaurant, your little Mouseketeer can have his own plate of food -- for free. If you are dining at a quick-service or table-service restaurant where you plan on ordering off of a menu, you can share off of your plate with your son. If you decide to purchase a kid’s meal, you will need to pay out-of-pocket for it. I usually find that all Walt Disney World Resort quick-service and table-service restaurants provide plenty of food for us to share. However, I tend to stick to buffet and family-style restaurants so that my girls can have a large variety of dishes to choose from!
Kacey, please visit us again if you have any other questions. We are all EARS!
Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
Priscila
