My son woke up sick this morning. He got exposed to a friend that was positive with covid last week. We do not know if my son got it now. My whole family needs to be tested. I’m afraid we have to cancel our our upcoming reservation. Please advise.

Hi there, Editha. Welcome to planDisney!

I’m sorry to hear your son is not feeling well and was exposed to a friend with Covid 19. I hope he has a speedy recovery. In the meantime, I understand the need to cancel your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. Editha, please rest assured that you can reschedule your visit to a later date when everyone is feeling better. Even if you cancel your theme park reservations, your tickets remain valid until their expiration date. At this time, a one-day ticket is valid through December 30, 2022; if you purchased multi-day tickets, they will expire within 13 days of first use, or by January 12, 2023, whichever occurs first.

When you’re ready to re-book your vacation, you can conveniently do so on your Disneyland mobile app or on Disneyland.com by logging into your Disney account. Be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar when making your new reservation. Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a new QR code.

Be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news. Please don’t hesitate to visit us again on planDisney if you have more trip-planning questions. We’re all EARS!

Sending you well wishes! Hope your son feels better soon.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
