    My son is a Webelo Cub Scout. We would love for him to be able to participate in the Flag Retreat @ MK. How do they select the "special guest" that participates in the retreat?

    Hi Debra,

    My son is also a Webelos Cub Scout, so I can totally understand your eagerness for him to participate in such a special ceremony. The Flag Retreat at Magic Kingdom does involve them choosing a "special guest" to participate. However, it is completely random and often involves someone in the Armed Forces or a veteran. This does not mean that he can't witness this moving ceremony first hand. It typically takes place at 5:00 pm.
