My son wants to propose to his girlfriend at Walt Disney World this September but somewhere where it's just the two of them. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Penelope!

I love that your son wants to propose to his girlfriend at Walt Disney World Resort! As the parks can be busy, your son will need to be creative in finding a spot to propose. My husband proposed to me at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Finding a quiet spot on the resort grounds is a great place for your son to have some privacy during his special moment. Whether on the bridge at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (our proposal location), while watching the Electric Water Parade at Disney's Contemporary Resort, or during a stroll on Disney's BoardWalk, the Walt Disney World Resort hotels will all provide beautiful and picturesque places that your son can consider.

If your son wants to do something in the parks, he could pick his favorite Omnimover-style ride to pop the question. These rides will allow just the two of them to enjoy the moment together and will be a lasting memory for them. He could ask her to be "part of his world" on Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid or to forever join him in his quest to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Rangers Spin.

For something more relaxing, your son could schedule relaxing spa treatments for the two of them the Grand Floridian Senses Spa and surprise her during or after her treatment. A proposal after a fantastic massage for two would definitely be a surprise as she wouldn't be expecting it after such a special treat!

Don't forget that you can help them celebrate their special day with an In-Room Celebration. A champagne toast waiting for them in their Walt Disney World Resort hotel room is a great way for you to show them how happy you are for them!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
