Hi there, Wendy!
Your son is proposing?!? How exciting! Welcoming a new member to the family is always a special experience, and I love that he wants to include you in the proposal!
You might be able to bring in the "Will you marry me?" signs, but it is subject to the discretion of both security and Cast Members in the parks. I recommend arriving early to speak with the Cast Members, and I would have a backup plan just in case the signs are not permitted. I also suggest keeping the signs fairly small (perhaps each Guest can carry a sign that has one word?). Outside entertainment is not usually allowed, and I am doubtful that a Guest would be able to sing. I am sorry! You can talk to a Cast Member near the area where the proposal will take place to see what is allowed.
Has your son decided on a
proposal location yet? I think Snow White Grotto next to Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park would be the perfect spot for a proposal! This quiet area is beautiful and somewhat secluded from most Guests. The happy couple could make a wish at the Wishing Well and get engaged at the same time! Another option could be proposing at dinner. This would provide a more controlled environment, and the restaurant Cast Members might be able to assist in the magical surprise (depending on what is requested).
Carthy Circle Restaurant,
Napa Rose, and
Blue Bayou Restaurant would all be wonderful proposal locations! The
World of Color Dessert Party would also be a charming proposal spot!
Wendy, congratulations on the upcoming engagement! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
