Hey there, hi there, Cheryl! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you are here to ask us a very important ticket question.
On behalf of all of us here at planDisney, please send a huge thanks to your son for his service. We are also a military family and are thankful for the offers Disneyland extends to service members. Your son is able to purchase standard Disneyland Resort tickets from a participating military base ticket office for himself, as well as friends and family. There is another ticket type, the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket, that has specific details on who and how they are used. They also have block-out periods as well. While the standard tickets he is able to purchase do not have date restrictions, you still will need to link your tickets and make theme park ticket reservations for these tickets once they are purchased. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this, it looks like reservations are full through the end of this week with only some availability left for Sunday, December 31, 2023.
The tickets should be valid for quite some time so if he has already purchased them hopefully you will all find a good time to visit.
Theme park ticket reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. While it's usually easy to make last-minute plans to visit, the holiday time is the most popular time to visit and reservations do fill up in advance. You can always keep checking the
calendar to see if any reservations pop up last minute. The calendar is fluid and will update if Guests cancel or modify their reservations.
Cheryl, thanks so much for stopping by. We will always be here if you have any other planning questions!
Carrie
