My son wants to buy his family some Disney World tickets with his military discount as a gift, but he is in Spain and can not go with them. I was wondering if it is possible to purchase Discounts with his Military discount and not attend with them.

    Hope:

My understanding of the military offer here is that someone with military identification must be present to activate the tickets at the window, hence the reason they call the family's tickets companion tickets.  The exception is if the spouse is present with an i.d.

I would recommend that he check with his post to see if there is an exclusion for overseas military, but I could not find those exclusions on Disney's public website.

Please let him know how thankful we are for his service--and your support.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
