Hello, my son and I are visiting Disney World in June for his 10th birthday. Is there a way to have a birthday card sent to him from Disney, informing him of his big surprise?

Hi, Tashara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion, but especially birthdays! Although currently, there is no specific mail sent from Disney themselves, I have heard of Guests surprising family members in special ways. Some of these include having the family member open the wrapped MagicBands that are sent in the mail before your magical vacation, having a pizza box with the words “We’re going to Walt Disney World Resort” on the top section, filling a box with helium balloons with Disney Characters, or even visiting their local Disney Store where, when you call ahead, certain locations will help you create a special surprise announcement! Make sure to have your camera at the ready when the big reveal is made!

Make sure to contact Disney Reservations to have a note added to your reservation that you are celebrating, and once you have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort, you might receive a special birthday button at check-in, if you don’t make sure to ask for one! Disney Floral and Gifts is also a great way to surprise your son with goodies in your Disney Resort hotel room, they even have special birthday packages!

    Have a magical vacation!
