Hi Jaynee,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with a great question!
My family has used the
Disability Access Service (DAS) and it truly has been a lifesaver for us in the parks. The good news is that once a Cast Member links the service to your son's ticket, you can use his
Admission Card to request a return time for and scan into attractions. All four of us have been able to ride together when one of us is using the DAS.
If you have used
MagicBands in the past, they may still be active and usable. Check their status in your My Disney Experience account. We always take old MagicBands with us even if we have purchased new ones, just in case a new one gets lost. They have all still been working when we have used them. Although they do not last indefinitely, it's worth checking to see if yours are still operational!
Remember that when you use the Disability Access Service, any person linked to the service can request a return time for an attraction, but when you return to scan in for the attraction, the person with the DAS must scan in first.
You can have one active return time at a time. Remember to also review the other
Services for Guests with Disabilities. We have found the Park Guides useful as well -
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Jaynee, looking at the dates off your visit, I do hope you plan to visit the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. We adore the topiaries!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
