My son and I are US citizens but my wife is a US permanent resident. Would she be able to board a Bahamian cruise depart from Florida?

Ahoy there, Sameh!  Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your important question.

Having the correct travel documentation is very important to getting your vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line started off right!  For a closed-looped cruise, meaning it begins and ends in the United States, US Legal Permanent Residents must present a valid original Permanent Resident Card.  Photocopies are not acceptable.   Travel documentation will be needed for Online Check-in as well as presenting the physical copy at the port when you are ready to embark.  Without the correct documentation, you or your family members will not be able to board.

Sameh, it looks like you will be traveling to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.  Disney Cruise Line partnered with artists and historians to pay tribute to The Bahamas in the architecture and spaces around Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.  I hope you get some time to explore and take it all in.

If you have any other questions, come back and visit us at planDisney.  We are here to help!

    Adventure is out there!
