My son will be two weeks shy of a year for our trip to Disney in May. I was wondering what the best park would be to visit with him and how many rides will he be able to go on? Thanks!

    Hi, Jillian!

I took both of my kids to Walt Disney World when they were just tiny Mouseketeers, and there was so much for our family to enjoy together!  We definitely found Magic Kingdom to be the most enjoyable, so you might want to make that your first stop.

Your little guy will be able to ride it's a small world, Peter Pan's Flight, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Prince Charming's Regal Carousel, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Jungle Cruise and so much more.  You will also want to get plenty of photos with your favorite Disney Pals as you will want to remember this very special age!

What my kids enjoyed most at that age though was just being in the Magic Kingdom!  My daughter was amazed by the castle, and my son loved the sparkling lights at nighttime.

You will want to locate the Baby Care Center when you arrive as this is great for changes and feedings.  I spent a LOT of time there when my kids were in diapers!

Bring a stroller, take plenty of breaks, and try to keep on your baby's schedule.  I hope you have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
