Welcome to planDisney, Charlene!
Heading to Walt Disney World to celebrate your little one’s third birthday? As we say in Liverpool, what a cracking idea! There’s just something really special about watching your child take in the magic—whether it's their first ride on
Peter Pan's Flight, spotting their favourite character in the
Festival of Fantasy Parade, or eating a Mickey-shaped snack on Main Street, U.S.A. It’s the kind of trip that leaves you with stories you’ll be telling for years.
If you’ve booked a Disney vacation package (hotel and park tickets together through Disney), and your little one is still two years old when you check in, you’re golden. Even if they turn three during your stay, they won’t need a ticket since Disney goes by their age at the start of the booking. So you won’t need to worry about a sudden extra cost mid-trip. But if you’ve sorted park
tickets separately (not part of a Disney package), the rules change a bit. In that case, they’ll need their own park ticket starting the day they turn three.
One more thing, Charlene: don’t forget to pop by
Guest Relations for a free "Happy Birthday" pin. Cast Members love to make birthdays memorable and will happily pour some extra attention on your Mousketeer. Have an amazing trip, and give Mickey a wave from me!
