Hello, Steven! Thanks for cruising over to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I think you’ve made a great choice selecting Disney Cruise Line for your family vacation. There is something for everyone, from Broadway-style musicals to variety acts, trivia, and deck parties! Plus, there’s no better way to celebrate turning five than with Captain Mickey.
When searching for cruises, put the age your son will be at the time of embarkation, so four. When you book your cruise, you’ll enter everyone’s date of birth. This information must match your citizenship documentation, either your birth certificate or passport.
Disney Cruise Line loves to
celebrate birthdays! I recommend noting your celebration on
your reservation. Sign in to your Disney account and head to My Reservations. Select Special Requests > Celebrations to mention his birthday. Be sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button he can wear throughout the cruise. The Crew, other Guests, and even his favorite Disney Pals will notice the button and share their good wishes with him. You never know when a little extra pixie dust might come his way!
As your plans start to take shape, download and print the
My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet before you set sail. It’s packed with helpful information about what children can expect when sailing with Captain Mickey. Plus, there are some helpful tips for parents, too! Please visit us again, Steven. We are always happy to help!
SEAS the adventure!
