My son turns 3 in the 15th, to take advantage of him being 2 we are going to animal kingdom park on the 14th of November. Do i need to add his name somewhere?

Welcome to planDisney, Waina! A trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great way to celebrate your son's upcoming birthday. He'll be able to see and learn about animals, become a Wilderness Explorer, try lots of delicious snacks, and so much more! Since he's still two years old, he does not require admission but let's chat about what you'll need to do to ensure he can take part in every fun thing you've got planned for him on his big day.

Waina, your son is still under the age of three, so he is a special guest of Mickey Mouse and will not need a ticket to enter the Theme Parks. There is no special registration or documentation required for him to get in, he will just come in with you when you scan your ticket! If you're planning on using Disney Genie+ service that day to bypass some of the standby lines, you will not need to include him in your purchase either, and he will still be able to join you when you enter attractions through the Lightning Lane.

The only place where it's important to include him in the headcount is if you have any dining reservations planned that day. If you're taking him to dine with the Disney Characters at Tusker House Restaurant or to eat in the jungle at Rainforest Cafe, you will need to make sure that the reservation includes him in the count of diners in your party. Beyond that, you do not need to add his name anywhere for him to be able to join in on all the fun.

    Have a magical day, Waina!
