Hi, my son is turning on 3 years old when we are staying at Disney World. In this case, have I to pay a ticket for him ? Because when we arrive, he will have 2 years old only. Thanks

    Hi Audrey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting. I can't think of a better way to celebrate a birthday!

Planning for Little Ones can feel a bit overwhelming, but Disney goes out of their way to make sure that there is plenty of fun for even the youngest guests!  There are more than 80 attractions and experiences available that don't have a height requirement! That means that you and your children have plenty of opportunities for fun together.

My favorite theme park for little ones is Magic Kingdom Park. We love to experience attractions such as Peter Pan flight, Prince Charming Regal Carousel, "it's a small world," and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. My kids also loved splashing in the Casey Jr. Splash' N' Soak area. Make sure to pack a change of clothes and shoes as the kids tend to get wet, but the giggles and smiles are well worth the costume change!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is another favorite park to visit with the children. Not only are there great attractions for the whole family such as Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, and Na' vi River Journey, but there are also fantastic ways to experience all the amazing animals in their natural habitats! We love taking the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

In my experience, since your son will be booked into your reservation as a two-year-old, and that should 't change unless you switch Resort hotels or have a different reservation. If you have further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact the Walt Disney World Resort directly.

Don't forget to book your FastPass+ reservations and take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located at all four theme parks!

I hope that you and your family make many magical memories!
