My son will be turning 4 yo when visiting Orlando this summer. Please help me plan my trip to the Disney parks. What rides and in which parks will he be able to ride? What are the must sees and experience while there. How do we avoid waiting in lines?

    Hi Alina,

I am glad to help you as you begin to plan your magical vacation!

I am happy to let you know that your son will be able to experience many attractions at Walt Disney World, and that there are attractions and experiences appropriate for his age group in every theme park. Many of the attractions do not have a height requirement to ride, and I suggest that you check out this Disney Parks Blog post on height requirements for attractions at Walt Disney World to ensure that your son is tall enough for any rides you are thinking of experiencing with him.

As to must-see experiences at Walt Disney World, there are so many, and they truly depend on your child and his unique interests. If your son loves the Disney Junior characters, you might want to spend extra time at Disney's Hollywood Studios. For children who are very interested in animals, time at Disney's Animal Kingdom is in order. I suggest that you view the Walt Disney World planning video to get an idea of what you think he might like. Also, check out the Walt Disney World with preschoolers page for ideas for planning with your little one.

Finally, in order to experience some attractions with a shortened wait time, you should take advantage of Disney's FastPass+ system. Through your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to make some selections before you leave home!

I would love to help you plan more Alina; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please write back with any further questions!
