My son is turning 3 on our trip, so we need a ticket for him?

How ya doin' Katie and welcome to planDisney!

Your big boy is turning 3 during your magical stay?! What a very special way to have a birthday. Now even though it's his birthday, I have a gift for your benefit, Katie. As long as he's 2 on your arrival date to The Most Magical Place on Earth he won't need a ticket to be purchased for this trip. This is the last time before he's a big boy that needs a ticket so make it count. Use Disney Genie Service to plan the perfect Disney day for the birthday prince.

Pro tip: Make sure to get his Happy Birthday button and your I'm Celebrating buttons at the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at Guest Services in the Disney Parks. You'll want everyone to know he's celebrating so they can celebrate with him. Make sure to wear them every day of your trip. I've personally experienced Cast Members going out of their way to make people's birthdays as magical as possible all because of those little complimentary pins.

Katie, cherish these moments with your little one. They grow up so fast!

Happy planning and a very merry unbirthday for your son!
